NIU XQi3 Street-legal Dirt Bike

The XQi3 Street is an electric street-legal dirt bike created by electric scooter brand NIU from China. The company was founded in 2014 by the former CTO of Baidu (the Chinese Google) and a former employee of Microsoft. The company is listed on NASDAQ and provides exceptionally high-quality and durable products.

The XQi3 is available as a street-legal and as an off-road version. The street-legal version is certified for both US M1/M2 and European L1e (XQi3).

The XQi3 Street has a water-cooled 8 000 watt mid-mounted electric motor with a restricted top speed of 45 km/t. The motor provides 357 Nm torque for fast acceleration.

The XQi3 Street has boost button that provides an instant 8 000 watt power boost.

The XQi3 Street has a removable 36 Ah lithium battery made by LG that provides a driving range of 90 km.

The moped has a light weight aluminum frame and cutting edge KKE suspension. The suspension is adjustable to personalize the bike's performance.

The moped has state of the art features including NFC based keyless lock, Bluetooth sense based Smart Lock, a lap timer, route tracking and hands-free calling.

Other features include an emergency kill switch that automatically disables the motor when the rider falls off the bike, an advanced anti-theft system, GPS based locator, tuning of the moped via a mobile phone app and an USB-C charge port.

The XQi3 Street has a digital dashboard that connects to a mobile phone.
